Great stay in Tanzania with CHAMELA TANZANIA SAFARI. Departed from December 26, 2022 to January 1, 2023 inclusive. We had the possibility to give him our wishes for visits, but having never been to Africa and having never done a safari, we asked him to manage everything, Joël concocted a stay with little onions for us! everything was perfect. The choice of parks, places to sleep (including 2 nights in a camp in the middle of nature with warthogs and hyenas near our tent at night (no danger for us, you just must not go out without the guards at night: -) ) You only experience this once in your life. All that is the performance of Joël, The boss of Tanzania! But it was also our guide Chabani who made this adventure unique and just perfect. Chabani has lynx eyes and sees well-hidden animals sometimes a few hundred meters away (this was the case for the Black Rhinoceros that Chabani spotted when we couldn't see anything except a black spot. But the camera and the binoculars confirmed the beautiful catch !! It is thanks to this catch that we are proud to be able to say that we saw the BIG 5 (the lion, the leopard, the elephant, the black rhinoceros and the buffalo. not always easy in just 1 week. Magnificent trip with Chalema Tanzania
I just returned from Tanzania, a trip organized beforehand by a local agency with Joël from Chalema Tanzania. The trip was exceptional. We were taken care of upon our arrival at the airport. We spent 5 days on safari and 4 days dedicated to local life, tribes (I sometimes had the impression of being in a RV in an unknown land). The choice of hotels made by Joël is faultless. The food was also good. The car in impeccable condition. Our guide driver was Chabany. We saw thousands of animals. I have traveled quite a bit and this trip is in the top 3! 5D ascension Mont Meru + 9 D Safari

Amazing 8 day safari
We did a 8-day safari with CHALEMA in February 2023 and were entirely satisfied with everything: Joël immediately got in touch through whatsapp (also calling us in Switzerland) and listened to our ideas, at one point giving sound advice for improvement so that we ended up with a perfectly fitting itinerary for us that took into consideration the seasonal migration in the south of Serengeti (Ndutu) – this proved to be the ideal place for the most amazing sightings of wildlife! We were picked up at the airport by Praygod, our guide, who - although young (25 yrs) - spotted so many animals and knew exactly how to guide us to the best places. He was a great source of information for our thousand questions about life in Tanzania and a very helpful and friendly young man. We particularly enjoyed the local curries for lunch (instead of the lunch boxes with all the trash they produce) and Praygod even arranged a local Ugali dish for us. Our jeeps battery was quite weak at one point and the agency arranged for a quick replacement, sending one from Arusha to our location in very little time. We can fully recommend Chalema.
