Magic Serengeti

We spend 5 days around Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Mack was funny, polite and very generous with us. Thomas, our driver, was simply the best: great knowledge of area and animals, funny, always quit and very polite. He delivered every requests from us. He let us see a Leopard as close as possible! When we turn back to Serengeti we'll ask for Thomas again!

Great service, accomodation and experience

Tanzania has a very good standard in their safaris and this was of course no exception. Mack has been an amazing host. He helped us from the very first minute we arrived in Arusha. He drove us to the hotel, explained us how the trips is going to be and helped us with the planning for the future transportations in the country. The car was good, in good conditions, comfortable. The accommodation was good, clean and we had a great entertainment in the evening in the camping place. Tarangeri was a great park, we could see big 4 in one afternoon and then Ngorongoro Crater is something that no one should miss. The lunch was ok with a little dessert.. We had Lorenzo as our guide, he maybe needs to explain a little bit more what we see in front but we were safe with him all the time. The planning was as scheduled, on time and we were lucky with the weather that we could see and experience amazing things. I do recommend Kiliholidays Tours and of course Mack as a great host!

Awesome Guide/Driver

We went on a total of 3 safaris during this trip and without a doubt, Melkior is like the best. A very safe and experienced driver, he was able to get us to our destinations safely. He was also awesome at spotting the animals and we could see his passion in his job and his love for the safari when he was explaining things to us. Totally more than what we could have imagined as his explanations and anecdotes added so much more to our trip, making the whole journey unbelievable! Kudos to him!

Amazing Experience!

My girlfriend and I did a 4 day trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was epic! We saw so many big cats, exactly as we wanted! Lions fighting over food with a pack of hyenas, cheetahs stalking their breakfast (gazelles), leopards sleeping in trees next to their kill, and so on. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about everything from the wildlife to the local tribes, and perhaps more importantly he knew every park inside and out and was always finding the best spots for us. We chose the "mid range" accommodation but for us it was total paradise, if it were us we would call it luxury! One night we had a view over Lake Manyara and ate a delicious dinner in a restaurant built around a huge Baobab Tree; on another night we were in a luxury camp right in the middle of the Serengeti and could sit around a campfire and watch "African TV" (i.e. the wildlife). During the booking process, Mack and his team were super friendly, helpful, and professional the whole time, answering all our questions and even making special preparations for us. After we got back to Arusha they even organized an extra customised tour for us to see Kilimanjaro and some sights around Moshi the following days at a very good price! We would definitely book again with Kili Tours!

It was definitely one of the greatest experience of our lives!

Kiliholidays is a great safari agency! they have been reliable and honest. The car was exactly how I expected, spacious and with the "lifting-roof", and the tour was organized only for the two of us. One of the best experiences of my life so far! The guide was really helpful and competent, it has been really easy to establish a good relationship with him. Everything went without any problem and we enjoyed the wildlife and landscape of this wonderful place. After the safari we also met the operator manager, Mack: a really good man! We would definitely repeat the safari sooner or later!

Bespoke Safari & Mountain Biking

My two teenage boys and I had a fantastic safari holiday thanks to bothth Mack for putting a tailored package together and Mike our excellent driver and guide . Mike was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble . Our most memorable day was spent mountain biking around Mto wa Mbu with Mkopi a local guide he showed is many things about Tanzanian life. KIli put this iitinery together especially for us. thanks guys !

Great value and great stuff

We had good luck through the teviews before choosing our budget safari and chose Killiholidays and i think we were very lucky in our choice. The money exchange at first seemed a problem because there was no paypal or credit cards but we trusted them and in the end everything was fine, Mack was quite relaxed and we had to trust him. This is a safari that really puts you in touch with the people and the Selous, the driving looked daunting but the landcruiser was fine and our driver Tumsufi was excellent,he really looked out for us and could,nt do enough. Driving through the landscape you really get a sense of the place and where you are heading. I would not hesitate to do this again with Killiholidays all their staff Moses, Mack and Tumsufi have the best intentions in making sure you have a fantastic time. In only one day we saw so much, lions,giraffes, elephants,hyenas,warthogs and hippos our only regret is we didn,t book for longer.

great experience, best value!

we went to a 5 days honeymoon safari with kiliholidays. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro NP and Lake Manyara. Mack the owner is a very nice man he helped us with getting from and to the airport, Thomas the instractor was very pleasent and profesional, the food was nice, we got to see the big five and the overall experience was just great! beacause we eat only kosher food Mack was kind enouph to bring us new dish, pans, and cooking only vegeterian food. it was a great service wich he asked for nothing in return, and it says everything about this company. i recomend this company for everyone who wants a good experience in the best value for money! thanks for everything!!

Fantastic experience, well organised tripp

In September 2016 we took a 6 day safari (midclass) with Kiliholidays. During this trip we visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro NP and Lake Manyara. We were very fortunate to see a lot of animals upclose. Our guide Mike was really nice, showed great hospitality and really 'knew his stuff' about the wildlife and the history of Tanzania. Also the contact with Mack, by mail and whatsapp was quick and adequate. Accomodations were clean and beautiful and lived up to our expectations. We definitely recommand Kiliholidays. If we visit Tanzania again, we would like to travel with them again.

It was a great expereance,we learnt so much about live,nature,people and of course animals!

We were picked up by yeep with a Guide an a Cook in Dar es Salaam ! The english of both was very good . The Guide told us so much about nature,animals and live in Tansania.The Drive to Selous Game Reserve took 7 hours with a good lunch in between and was so interesting ! We stayed at Hippo Camp,with view at the river,where you can see the Hippos!! The accommodation was nice and clean , the people friendly and helpful! We did a two hour boat safari,a one day game drive and a walking safari. Each event was georgus, unbeleavabel ,the greatest expereance we ever had!! The food was very good and plenty and tasty! Tank you very much for those 3 days we will never forget!!

A great experience with a few bumps

First I would like to thank Mack for his patience whilst we sorted out our end. Mike, our driver and guide, for his knowledge and willingness to assist us in getting the best experience during our time on safari. And Nicho for some excellent food at the Hippo Camp. Some points that would have improved the overall safari, prior planning on the part of Kiliholidays to ensure vehicle is in the best state prior to commencement may have prevented the flat tyre just outside of Dar Es Salaam, and having a fully serviceable jack would have reduced the amount of time on the side of the road. In addition having to wait in Dar Es Salaam whilst groceries were purchased detracted from the excitement for all participants who were on their first safari. And though it was necessary to have a spare prior to departing the Hippo Camp, it was not good having to wait for two hours whilst it was being repaired when it should have been done the previous day/night, and I do understand this is not Kiliholidays fault as the tyre was dropped off for repair with plenty of time to do so. The sunset boat tour on the Rufiji was spectacular, with the sun setting over the hippos. Accommodation provided by Steve and his staff at the Hippo Camp was a pleasant surprise, much better than what we expected. The safari was, from start to finish, a magnificent display of african animals in the wild, Giraffes, Impala, Warthogs, Zebras, Wildebeasts, Lions, Hippos, Kudus, Water Bucks, Crocodiles, Babboon, Monkeys and Elephants. The best experience though was getting within a couple of meters of 3 month old Lion Cubs with their mother. And the view from the bank of the lake/river whilst we ate lunch was brilliant. Didi and his magical 2 hour walk through the bush the following morning was an adventure that none of us will ever forget, and then he topped it off with more elephants. All in all the six of us immensely enjoyed the experience, but the time wasted for provisions and tyre change/repair on the voyage to and from Dar Es Salaam could have been avoided.

Fantastic!!

We went on the 6 day southern circuit safari with Kiliholidays and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We have never booked a trip direct with the tour operator like this before, and Mack, who did the booking for us was really helpful and informative, he answered any questions we had and made booking the holiday really easy and stress-free! Our guide was called Mike and he was Amazing!! So helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, he knew loads about the wildlife and the culture and traditions of Tanzania. He helped to make our holiday even more special. We would definitely recommend Kiliholidays (and Mike as a guide) if you are thinking of booking a safari. A Massive thank you to Mack, Mike and all the staff who made our safari a trip we will never forget!!
