Lifetime vacation experience
We started our trip with Jinja then Fortportal, we were driven to the source of the Nile in Jinja. On our way to Jinja, we branched off for zip lining in Mabira Forest, this is activity is out of this world, I screamed so hard, I fear heights but I had fun. A tour of the Sezibwa falls was great. I got to learn that the Sezibwa river was birthed by a woman. We liked the boat ride to the source of the Nile. Joseph took a good care of us. He is a brilliant guide, knowledgeable, thoughtful and so friendly and determined to make sure we got what we wanted from this trip. Kubwa Five Safaris provided the services beyond our expectations. After our Jinja trip, we hit road to Fortportal which is in the western part of Uganda, the we hiked the 4 crater lakes in Fortportal with interesting information on history about them . On our last day at Kyaninga Crater lodge, we planted trees around the crater lake. While at camp fire, we enjoyed listening to stories about the culture of Tooro. Our tour of the famous Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves was an added bonus. It was my first time to have such a trip and I learned many things about my country on this trip. Highly recommend Kubwa Five Safaris.

amazing 6 days of safari in Uganda
I have just finished amazing 6 days of safari in Uganda. This was my first safari experience in Uganda! Everything was wonderful, much better than what I expected! The tour was very well organized by KUBWA FIVE SAFARIS.It was really an experience of a lifetime! My guide Joseph was brilliant, this man is a legend. Joseph has a lot of knowledge, excellent English, very friendly and took care of everything what I needed! At first I would like to say thank him for his personal qualities: responsibility, courtesy, extraordinary intelligence and readiness ,secondly for his high qualifications such as preparedness, extensive knowledge and rich experience. Best experience and the best tour guide Joseph. I would highly recommend KUBWA FIVE SAFARIS agency and specifically Joseph to anyone looking to have an unforgettable trip!

Incredible 8 days in Uganda, The Pearl of Africa
In Uganda, my friends and I visited Kidepo Valley National Park and Murchison Falls National Park. When we arrived at Entebbe International Airport, our driver, Stephen, greeted us with a warm smile and drove us to a nearby hotel in Entebbe. The next day, we had to get up early and drive to Murchison Falls National Park, where we went to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see rhinos. OMG, these animals are huge, and it was my first time seeing Rhinos, and the Rhino park was beautiful. The Murchison Falls were absolutely stunning, and the boat cruise was incredible; we saw hippos, crocodiles, and other water animal species while on the boat cruise. The wildlife game drives in both Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Parks were incredible. We saw elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Thompson deer, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, unnamed birds, and, of course, lions and leopards. We would not have had the best chances of seeing the animals if it hadn't been for our amazing guide Stephen, who did an outstanding job of making us feel safe and locating the lions and leopards. Everything went smoothly, and our hotels were lovely. We had a fantastic vacation in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. I would definitely use Kubwa Five Safaris again for my next vacation.

Welcoming and Hospitable
The itinerary was well prepared before our safari, and everything listed there was delivered as promised. It was an ideal adventure, filled with stunning scenery, the Big 5, and nature unlike anything we would ever seen. The meals on our safari were great, and our guide was knowledgeable and helpful with our questions, in fact he never got tired of our questions. The rooms were pristine, and the bathrooms and showers were of excellent quality.

Excellent job Kubwa five!!
The hotel amenities were top class. I enjoyed the driver's stories about the different animals and names of bird species. The highlight of my trip was the wildlife which we saw in large numbers especially the buffaloes, Elephants and Giraffe. We had an opportunity to see a few lions and we also spotted a leopard, we were only group of tourists who had a privilege to see the leopard on that day. The guests who had come earlier than us and those who came after us failed to see any leopards on that very day, we were so lucky. This is because Steven our guide knew where to spot leopards. Thank you Kubwa five safaris for the most memorable trip of a lifetime. We really enjoyed the views of wildlife especially the lions at Murchison falls national park! I will definately use your services again and highly recommend your company. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

He is Kind and a Time manager
Peter, our extraordinary tour guide, surpassed our expectations! The lodges in which we lodged were also remarkable. Everywhere we visited, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We were able to see a diversity of animals up close and personal. It was an extraordinary adventure from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

Amazing Rwanda safaris
We booked with Kubwa Five Safaris during COVID-19 pandemic for a trip to Rwanda shortly after Rwanda had opened her airports for international flights. We visited a number of places. We greatly needed this kind of trip. We were 17 of us, the Standard Operating Procedures such as wearing of masks, sanitizers, etc, were all put in place, we used two minibuses which imply that social distance was observed. We enjoyed the game drives and boat ride, while on our game drive, we saw; lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, etc. The accommodations were well selected and meals were great. We will travel with Kubwa Five Safaris again

ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME
The most intriguing aspect is that we had a professional tour guide who knew what to look for and which part of the park had most breathtaking view. This was absolutely an adventure of a lifetime. I recommend to any tourist visiting Africa and especially Uganda, the Pearl of Africa to use the services of Kubwa Five Safaris.

one star budget 5 star experience
It was not my first time to Africa as a solo traveler but it was my first time visiting Rwanda and Uganda. I flew into Kigali Airport and I was welcomed by the whole pleasant team (Joseph the founder, Joan the tour guide in Rwanda, Steven the driver and William the photographer ) at the airport, I was then transferred to the hotel which was very close to the airport. As a solo traveler, I felt safe with 3 men and one lady around me all the time. Joan was so knowledgeable about Rwanda and constantly explained things and pointed things out to me. The cultural interaction at Gorilla Guadian Village (Ibyiwacyu) I experienced in Rwanda is out of this world. I was crowned as a queen, I dressed an African queen outfit. After Rwanda, we connected to Uganda. I had amazing Gorilla trekking with other people from different parts of the world. The amount and diversity of wildlife in Uganda is outstanding and I came across many hippos, lions, buffaloes, and other animals. I encountered an elephant at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National park, every night through the window I would spot hippos, buffaloes, and other animals. The sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga channel was amazing which started just after lunch. However, the vehicle had some technical difficulties (was a little bit of an adventure) at the beginning of the trip but Joseph and Steven were extremely competent and made every effort to resolve the car situation. I believe that a great company is not all about the problems you encounter but how they rectify them. I was a budget traveller but I had a 5-star experience. The hotels provided me with delicious and varied food throughout the tour, some other days I would have meals at restaurants in the community. I was supposed to stay longer (31 days in both countries) on the trip but I had to terminate the trip as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. I had an excellent time and enjoyed my adventure in Rwanda and Uganda very much. I just don't think I could have had this experience with any other provider. They took great care of me and all my needs. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to experience Rwanda and Uganda. I will go back to Uganda next year to complete my trip, then connect to Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia, still this same company will organize my trip.

Supportive, responsive, and flexible
My wife and I just returned from an 18-day trip to Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania with Kubwa Five. It was the trip of a lifetime. From the beginning, Kubwa Five was extremely fast to respond to any and all questions we had (and we had many), which put our minds at ease as there are many logistics that go into a trip like this, apart from the fact that neither of us had been to that part of the world before. We also appreciated the ability to swap out certain accommodations for others based on our own research. Once we arrived in Kampala, things took off smoothly. Someone was waiting for us with a sign with our names and took us straight to our first hotel. The next morning our guide had arrived, introduced himself, and we were off. Our guide, Charles, knew Uganda inside and out, down to every bird species we encountered along the way. His passion for his country was effusive, as he enthusiastically shared his deep well of knowledge with us during each drive and at every destination. The variety of activities in Uganda kept things fresh while offering plenty of time for wildlife viewing: game drives in the national parks, cultural interactions with local people, primate tracking (chimpanzees and mountain gorillas), boat rides, and, at our request, a visit to a home for disadvantaged children. The staff at all of the lodges and hotels were friendly, warm, and accommodating. In terms of wildlife, we saw nearly all of the animals we'd had on our list even before heading to Kenya and Tanzania, which are much more popular tourist destinations for safaris. Kubwa Five nailed planning and executing the Uganda leg of the trip, perhaps because they are based their and so have a deep knowledge of country. Next up was Kenya. Our journey took us from our arrival by plane to Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, the Maasai Mara, and finally to the border for our transfer to Tanzania. Again our guide did not disappoint: while more reserved, Geoffrey was equally knowledgeable, had a pleasant demeanor, and put a high emphasis on safety. He kept up to date on the status of the recent political protests that have been taking place in Kenya, monitoring social media to ensure our security. Witnessing the great migration of wildebeest and zebra at the Maasai Mara, standing up close to giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest on the Lake Naivasha walking safari, and witnessing the astonishing bird life at Lake Nakuru were experiences we'll never forget. If I had constructive feedback to provide for this leg of the trip, it would be that a couple of the accommodations (Burch's Resort in Nakuru and Lenchada in the Mara) left much to be desired, the former being what seemed like a half-abandoned shell of a convention center hotel undergoing renovations and the latter being a tented camp with very limited electricity hours, a prison-like bathroom, and mosquitos that kept finding their way into my mosquito net. The first full day at Lake Naivasha could have also been optimized, as the day's main activity was over by 1pm (would have been 12pm if not for paying for an optional activity), leaving us with several wasted hours in an already fast-paced itinerary. The land border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania was surprisingly smooth. Our Tanzanian guide Alfa came over to the Kenyan side to help facilitate the transfer. It was nice to see that he and Geoffrey knew one another, and Geoffrey comforted us by telling us that we were in good hands. From the beginning Alfa made us laugh with his crazy stories, while educating us with his encyclopedic knowledge about not only wildlife in Tanzania but of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, politics, and social issues. The wildlife on the Serengeti was no less stunning that in the Maasai Mara or any other national park we had visited; in fact we counted 33 lions on a single full-day game drive. People were as warm to us as they had been in Uganda. Several times, at both lodges and on an activity (hot air ballooning in the Serengeti) staff charmed us by singing and dancing for us. While we'd begun to get safari burnout by this point in the trip, Kubwa Five seamlessly accommodated our request to swap out and add certain non-wildlife-related activities so that we could get the blood circulating in our legs again after countless hours in the car. The only unexpected hitch in Tanzania was discovering that we'd been taken to a lodge that wasn't the same one on our itinerary for that night. The issue was that the original lodge had been overbooked due to a sick guest but we hadn't informed about it. We resolved the misunderstanding and accepted the company's genuine apology for the mistake, which they fully owned up to. And in the end, the new lodge wound up being an incredible luxury tented camp that we greatly enjoyed. In short, our experience in East Africa with Kubwa Five was worth every penny. Choosing a safari company is a big decision, but I can assure anyone who is considering Kubwa Five that you are in good hands and will leave with the most incredible memories.

Phenomenal!
Entering the van and listening to Afrobeats was a great first impression. I confirmed that we made the right choice and that what was to come would be unforgettable thanks to an excellent guide named Silas. Always caring for us and answering our many curious questions, we immersed ourselves in nature and were able to observe and adore elephants, buffalos, giraffes, rhinos, hippos and a wide variety of birds among other animals. We also visited the Murchison Falls, a breathtaking place and take a boat trip on the river Nile. In short, a wonderful few days to discover, connect, find peace and tranquility. Very grateful for the great service provided by the human team of Kubwa Five Safaris.

So Ethical they are
I recently had the privilege of experiencing an unforgettable Easter safari with Kubwa Five Safaris, and I must say, it was truly exceptional. Awesome trip
It was an awesome trip in Uganda as we spent four days exploring different attractions and most amazing were the Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Fall National Park, which gave us a good sight of tree climbing lions in Ishasha, buffalo, elephants, hippo, different bird species, and many other wild animals. This land-locked country offers stunning scenery and she is home of a wide variety of primates including the charismatic chimpanzees in Kibale National Park. Moreover, we got the chance to see white rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Our guides were friendly and very knowledgeable about each attraction which made our safari more breathtaking. Visiting Uganda was indeed a lifetime experience. We look forward to booking with you for another vacation in the future.

Amazing operator with the best guides Smith and Brian were awesome!
Great operator that communicates very well with customers. The guide, Smith, ensured we maximized our time and let us stop along the way to take as many pictures as we liked. We had him two days prior to our game drive for general transportation services and he was wonderful then as well. Brian, a second guide, helped Smith find animals while on the game drive. Reliable, friendly, and engaging! I would choose this operator and same guides again! They made it the best experience! Best of all… we saw lots of animals!
