To be honest, as a first-time safari experience, it was absolutely amazing. In only four days we saw all of the Big Five, witnessed hunts, feline battles, elephant caravans, and tons more. Moria Safaris took great care of us and delivered on every single promise from the booking. They respected our request to have David Irafay as our driver-guide throughout the entire trip, he truly became a good friend of us and was always looking out for us. The food was consistently tasty and flavorful, and cold bottled water was always available. My personal highlight? Nyani Campsite, where we could hear and see lions, hyenas, rare birds, and hippos right there. Super recommended!

Truly Blown Away by the experience !

Had an incredible 5 day safari experience with Moria ! The trip covered Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Parks, offering unforgettable wildlife encounters, including the big five and wildebeest migration. Well organized budget safari

I booked a budget safari with Moria on the day before departure. I was already on location and their seller Joshua took the effort to come and meet me and assist in the booking process. The safari was well organized and the food was delicious. Our guide Anwar was very patient and knowledgeable. He knew to answer all our questions, including the ones from the wildlife biologist in our group. I can recommend this tour!

My impressions of the safari. Everything was wonderful. Service at the highest level. This applies to the car, camping, food, necessary information or attention from the guys. Always friendly and will help with any question. We saw many animals and tried to get as close to him as possible. A Perfectly Planned and Unforgettable Safari Experience

Our safari with Moria Safaris was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was perfectly planned, starting gently and building up day by day, culminating in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. By the time we reached the crater, if you were lucky, you had already spotted all the animals, which allowed the last day to be enjoyed simply for the incredible beauty of the landscapes—a truly fitting way to end the journey. For such a short safari, including a visit to the northern Serengeti was a remarkable highlight. Very few tours, even longer ones, include this area, and it was an absolute success to reach it and witness the Great Migration—a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. Another point worth mentioning is how much the operator cares for their guests, going out of their way to help solve any issues that may arise during the trip, even those not directly related to the safari itself. This level of dedication is rare and deeply appreciated. Finally, I must highlight the cook, who prepared delicious and abundant meals every day despite the challenging conditions of the journey. Overall, it was an extraordinary and wonderfully organized adventure that I will never forget.

My husband and I just finished our six day small group Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongore, and lake Manyara. The trip is everything they promised on the booking sites. We saw many animals, learned a lot of animal behaviors from our guide Simba, and a lot about Maasai people. The lounging arrangements are great. All the food covered and is delicious. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Joshua who is our agent came to the hotel to welcome us and brought us gifts at the end. He was very patient with all our questions and requests.

He’s helpfull and reliable

Communication with the operator was excellent – they were always available whenever I had questions, which made everything so easy. The safari itself was incredible, and I truly felt it was great value for the money. The only downside was feeling a bit pressured to give tips. I believe tipping should come from the heart, not from feeling pushed into it. Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience that I’ll always remember!

Great Safari experience with Moria

The safar with Moria was so great. Since the begining they adapted to my preferences in visiting different national parks. Driver and guide was very good, spotted the big five, accomodation, food, all was perfect. Also they helped me in get accommodation for the last night when they were not supposed to. Best safari experience!

The company itself was easy to work with when booking, however communication after booking was a bit slow. During the trip itself, our guide, Muhammad, was knowledgeable, kind, and patient—important for animal viewing. He was a really good driver, not going as fast as some of the others and very responsive with our requests. We saw so many unique animal interactions (including a successful lion hunt/kill, a leopard on a rock formation with a lion, and tree-climbing lions) and couldn’t have asked for a better safari company/driver. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We were a party of 6 vegetarians and they worked with us to provide delicious food according to our dietary preferences. Thank you Moria, for an unforgettable experience!

Josh was very quick to reply to our questions and was helpful with multiple updated quotes as needed. The last day we had some extra time and he took us to a really delicious little restaurant and also showed us some local artisans which were much better quality than those we had seen in the tourist traps elsewhere.

Wonderful Safari experience with nothing to worry about and where you totally can enjoy!

The communication with the organisation was very good and fast. It provides a wonderful chance to explore several National Parks at a short time. The accomodations and lodges as well as the food were always very good. However, you need to bring a little flexibility as your route and accomodation may be adjusted or changed. For us, this was no big deal and we really enjoyed our safari experience. Please be aware that if you do not book a private tour that the number of tourists may vary every day. Also, the daily start of the safari may be later and the Game Drive itself may be shorter than wished.

Our safari experience was absolutely unforgettable! First of all, a huge thank you to the amazing customer service lady — her replies were always incredibly prompt, patient, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our guide, Mike, was exceptionally reliable and knowledgeable — thanks to him, we saw every single animal you’d expect to find in a wildlife photo book, and more! We were also blown away by Chef Victor, who not only cooked us delicious meals every day but also had a keen eye for spotting wildlife. On top of all that, we stayed in a series of stunning lodges and camps — all carefully selected to offer the best possible experience at the highest value for money. Couldn’t recommend this trip more!

First time on safari - so many animals - basic accommodation

Communication with Joshua went smoothly (apart from the politically motivated internet block). For the price, we couldn't find anything that included Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Norongoro Crater – four days packed with experiences. (We saw an incredible number of animals.) It's important to be aware that the drive to the Serengeti takes a good half day each way. And the accommodations are basic/modest, as expected for the price. Our first night was in a simple tent with a private bathroom that met the minimum hygiene standards (including a pool). The second night was in a small tent with sleeping bags and mats provided by the tour operator. The sanitary facilities were quite dirty, no light, no toilet paper... If you love adventure, then this is the perfect place for you, right in the middle of the Serengeti, unfenced and with less than the bare necessities. The last night was in the same tents, but with good sanitary facilities. ... The food was absolutely delicious every single day, and the kitchen staff went to great lengths to prepare it (they seemed to be cooking all night long), so we were even able to enjoy a hearty meal while out in the national park. Only one evening was there a bit of chaos with setting up the tent late and having dinner at 11:00 PM. :) The driver was very experienced and happy to provide detailed information about the animals and the region when asked. (We saw pretty much all the well-known animals of the area... and often several times... rhinos only from a distance.) (automatic translation from German)
