This all-inclusive pricing at $4,200 per person covers virtually all safari expenses.
The Great Wildebeest Migration typically occurs from June to October in the Maasai Mara and from November to May in the Serengeti. The dramatic river crossings at the Mara River are most frequent during July and August. However, the Serengeti and Maasai Mara offer exceptional wildlife viewing year-round, with different seasons providing unique advantages for game viewing and photography.
Kenya and Tanzania are well-established safari destinations with excellent safety records for tourists. Professional guides and experienced drivers ensure secure game drives. We recommend consulting your doctor about malaria prophylaxis, yellow fever vaccination, and travel insurance. Standard precautions include using insect repellent, staying hydrated, and following guide instructions during wildlife encounters and cultural visits.
You'll encounter the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos) across multiple parks. Additional wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. Samburu offers rare northern species like reticulated giraffes and Grevy's zebras. Ol Pejeta features endangered black rhinos and rescued chimpanzees. Season and location determine specific sightings.
Most international visitors require visas for both Kenya and Tanzania. Visas can be obtained on arrival, online, or at embassies before travel. You'll need a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond your travel dates. We recommend checking current visa requirements with the respective embassies well in advance and ensuring your passport is in good condition for border crossings.
Accommodations vary by location and are selected to provide comfort and authentic safari experiences. Lodges and camps are positioned for optimal wildlife viewing and cultural immersion. All meals are included daily, featuring local and international cuisine. Specific lodge details are provided in the detailed itinerary, ensuring you know exactly where you'll stay each night of your 13-day adventure.
