We were changing plans all the time but these guys are so flexible, everything was fine for them. We had such a great time, fantastic driver/guide and wonderful places to stay. They went out if their way to make us happy. 10 out of 10, highly recommended!

More than WHAT we could dream about

We did a 4 days tour in August starting from Tarangire then going to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Joel organized Very well our journey and We were Very lucky to have with us such a great guide, Godlove, that explained us all curiousities and facts about those parks, spotting the great fives . We TOTALLY recommend this tour operator to let your safari experience unforgettable!

We chose to go on a four-day safari (Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro). Our guide Ellie was really great, not only was she tireless and protective but she was really nice. We saw some fantastic places and the organisation went really well. From the lunches to the accommodation everything was super. I can only recommend the safari to everyone

We sincerely thank Derick from Pilgrimage Safaris. After carefully comparing several companies, we confidently chose Pilgrimage because of Derick's smooth communication, attractive proposals, and his consistently prompt and professional responses. When we encountered an issue during the trip, he worked to find a solution even late at night and provided a resolution first thing the next morning, ensuring our safari ended without regret. A special thanks to our guide, Benjamin. His professionalism was outstanding. On our final day, he diligently searched the entire plains with us to find a cheetah and successfully made it happen — a truly memorable experience. Although Pilgrimage is a relatively new company, we were deeply impressed by their quality of communication and the thoroughness of their arrangements. We wholeheartedly wish them continued growth and success. Based on our firsthand experience, we'd like to share some detailed suggestions: For future travelers: If you have specific animals you hope to see (like cheetahs) or particular requests for your guide, we recommend communicating this clearly with the tour operator in advance. This way, even though wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, the company and guide will be aware of and can prioritize your expectations, allowing for more tailored arrangements. For Pilgrimage: It would be excellent if you could proactively ask guests about their special hopes and strive to assign the most suitable and excellent guides. Also, given the significant dust in the Serengeti, providing some disposable masks for both guests and guides would be a very thoughtful and practical detail. For everyone: Simply savor every moment in the Serengeti — everything here is truly one of a kind.

We had an amazing experience with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris. Our guides Benjamin Joel were experienced, helpful and went out of their way to make our safari amazing. Benjamin ensured we got to see the big 5 and we were thrilled! Joel was very attentive and answered any questions we had. Accomodation and food was excellent throughout! Amazing Safari

Everything was great, the accommodations were fantastic on the midrange safari and I saw all of the big 5 and lots of other animals. My only advice would be to go for a longer tour if you can but even for a few days it was worth it. During the trip the tour operator checked in with me regularly to hear if everything was alright.

Helpful and very serviceminded

We were happy with our guide, who was a safe and skilled driver. He was patient and answered all our questions. We saw lots of amazing animals and one of our nights in Serengeti we spent in one of the most beautiful places on earth. At night we heard lions and other sounds. It was surprisingly cold at night. Ngorongoro krater was great, too.

We had an incredible 7-day safari in Tanzania that exceeded all our expectations. From the start, the travel agency staff were so friendly and reliable — when they learned we had to stay an extra night due to our flight, they immediately arranged it without hesitation. That really showed how caring they are. Our guide, Benjamin, was fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and always looking out for us. Even when there was a small disagreement with another tour group, he handled it with professionalism and kept everything smooth. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. The absolute highlight was witnessing the wildebeest river crossing — a true once-in-a-lifetime sight. More than the amazing wildlife, what touched us most was the warmth and integrity of everyone we met. This is a company we’d wholeheartedly recommend, and we hope they continue to grow and thrive.

Incredible safari, great tour company and good communications

After extensive research and consideration, I decided to go on my first-ever safari with Pilgrimage Safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and I have no regrets. From the very beginning, the communication with Nowatus was fantastic. He was extremely helpful and always made sure to organize the best tour for me. Nowatus is a kind and trustworthy person, and I had the chance to get to know him a bit better during a ride to Moshi right after my safari. I'm happy to support him through my booking, knowing the money is going to good hands, which was important to me before booking my safari. I opted for a budget camping safari, and it was an incredibly thrilling experience. I was fortunate enough to see all of the Big 5, which is not always guaranteed. Our guide, Zuma, was undoubtedly one of the best guides in Tanzania and made sure that we had a truly unique experience. As a solo traveler, it was important for me to be part of a great group, and Nowatus did an excellent job placing me with an international group that grew very close over the three days. We had so much fun together, and I'm grateful to have shared this unique experience with them.

Gasper organized my trip in a short period of time. The service was attentive and answers to messages were quick. The 4 day trip in the savanna was amazing. We managed to see 4/5 of Big 5 animals.
