Solo traveller 58 yrs old woman. Safari was not on my bucket list, and I am afraid of wild animals. I chose Pilgrimage thru Safari booking and I am happy, they will communicate with you and answer any concern you may have, only gave 10% of payment to reserve. Nice guys and the Safari Driver very nice, I would choose them again if I went back. All the tour operators know each other and support each other, everything is very organize, great food, and truly surprised how much I enjoyed it (glad to have gone in Safari, it is incredible and woth it!)

Unforgettable time with wildlife

Visiting Tanzania Safari frdm Tokyo, Japan. A lot of thanks to the guide, we completed the Big fives plus cheetah and popular animals. The whole procedure from booking to the transportation to the airport was very smooth and comfortable. Really appreciate Joel and Samson!! Food and accommodation were also great, surely worth visiting again.

Our two-week private Kilimanjaro climbing and safari tour through Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, the communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Joel carefully listened to our wishes and arranged a well-balanced itinerary that perfectly suited our family. The Kilimanjaro climb was extremely well organized. Our guides were experienced, attentive, and always prioritized safety while encouraging us every step of the way. Thanks to their excellent support, even our 10-year-old child was able to reach the summit safely, which made the experience even more meaningful for our family. The safari portion was equally unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, and overall the logistics were handled smoothly. At the beginning of the trip, we stayed at a hotel that did not fully meet our expectations, but the team responded quickly and arranged a change without any trouble, which we truly appreciated. During the safari, our vehicle got stuck in the mud twice. It was handled on site, but based on this experience, bringing a rope could be useful, especially during muddy conditions. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way. We are deeply grateful to Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Kilimanjaro climb or safari in Tanzania.

Great assistance

We were very happy with this company we booked for a 6 days safari. Joel assisted us before departure with lots of information and throughout our stay keeping contact every day via WhatsApp. He picked us up at the airport and took us around Arusha with a good local food lunch then we stayed at the Charity hotel (quite old and basic). The night in Arusha was a bit of a waste of time but The safari was great. We saw lots of animals and the guides were good. We had three different ones. This company use freelance drivers/guides so they are able to accommodate your needs for the safari itinerary and schedules. Also This means having maybe different drivers and groups and some delays. The midrange lodges we stayed were fantastic, excellent service, food was good, rooms were large and very comfortable. I would recommend to go for this option. The public camping sites are really basic and damp. Overall this company delivered everything they promised at a good price. They can also assist you with other bookings ( flights, hotels, activities). I would definitely recommend to use them for the safari.

Brilliant Safari

The safari was really fantastic. Our guide Godson was very knowledgeable and guided us to all places, animals and places of action. He also was a safe driver and very willing to do his best to do whatever we were asking for. Our group of 7 people was as put together from bookings of different operators. Do I ended up in different lodges that the others. I didn’t know this before and found it a bit strange. So better check before. Everything else was really perfect!!!

Lifetime experience!

It was a wonderful experience, and I was pleasantly surprised. From the very first contact, all my questions were answered in real time and with detailed information that gave me the confidence to book the safari by Gasper. The accommodations were excellent. In the Serengeti, I had the unforgettable experience of sleeping in the middle of the savannah, surrounded by the sounds of wildlife, yet enjoying a level of comfort far beyond what you’d expect from a mid-range tour. A special mention goes to our guide, Nestory. I have never met such a professional guide—he was incredibly knowledgeable about the routes, wildlife, and the region. His driving skills, time management, and ability to maximize every moment of the safari were outstanding. Truly an above-the-curve professional who made the entire journey even more remarkable. In the end, they coordinated our trip with another group, but everything went as promised and the group safari altough increased the complexity on the logistic, I really liked to met new people and that made the offer more affordable for what we wanted to see We booked for a 5 days including migration in north of Serengeti

A Last-Minute Plan That Turned Into a Dream Safari – Thank You,Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris & Gasper!

We reached out to Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris just one week before our trip, with a tight schedule and many questions. To our delight, Gasper responded quickly, kindly, and thoroughly. From airport transfers to accommodations and vehicle features, he provided everything we needed to make an informed decision in a short time — and that gave us great peace of mind. Although our tour ended up joining with another company due to the small group size (we were only two people), the itinerary went exactly as promised. Gasper also stayed in touch during our journey to check on how everything was going — a thoughtful touch we truly appreciated. The experience itself was unforgettable: we saw the Big 5, enjoyed three delicious hot meals each day, and stayed in lodges with hot showers, air conditioning, and comfortable beds — all of which exceeded our expectations. We especially loved Tukaone Serengeti Camps inside the Serengeti National Park. Watching wildlife just outside the tent was magical. If we return, we’ll definitely plan to stay there longer — maybe with a private tour next time! We highly recommend the 4 days 3 nights safari with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris. It includes three national parks(Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangrire NP), with a well-paced schedule that felt just right — not too rushed, not too slow. For anyone looking for a quality safari with kind support and solid logistics, this is it.

Excellent, super friendly and service above and beyond!

This is my first time visiting Africa and booked a 4-day Safari with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris starting from Arusha. Coming from Australia, it is a long way away and I had almost no African experience, nor knew what to expect. Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris were excellent in every way. When booking the tour, they were extremely responsive, courteous and thoughtful, accommodating to my questions and needs, tailoring the experience for me regarding where I wanted to visit and appropriate accommodation for my budget. They were also able to arrange seamless pickup and drop-off for me from my Kilimanjaro airport to my hotel, and the next day pick up from hotel by a highly experienced Safari guide for my trip. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt safe and welcomed throughout. Lastly, and most extraordinarily, my departing flight out of Kilimanjaro airport was cancelled and was re-scheduled to an earlier flight which didn't work for me. I was notified in the middle of my Safari and not speaking Swahili nor know who to contact, I needed urgent help. Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris was able to communicate to various airlines on my behalf and ultimately re-accommodated me to a flight that worked for my itinerary. This was done free of charge with utmost professionalism at a time that was highly stressful for me. Their safari prices are also good value for money, but ultimately their responsiveness, reliability and professional + friendly service makes them the most excellent company I've toured with. Highly highly recommended.

Great service and professionalism | 4-day Safari

Very competent staff and available to answer all our questions before and during the safari (over 30 emails exchanged with Novatus!). They had the best proposition among the four Safari agencies I was in contact with. We were welcomed by Seith and Novatus who showed us around Arusha the day before our departure. Our driver Mariki was also very competent and experienced, and we were lucky enough to see all the animals we expected to see! The accommodations were all very good, and the food provided for lunch on Safari days was excellent every time. I can only highly recommend Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari.

Joel, the agent, was always extremely helpful during the planning phase of our safari. He was precise with the quotes and very attentive and supportive throughout our days in Tanzania. Our driver Kisamo was exceptional – always punctual, attentive to our needs, highly skilled at driving through the rough roads of the parks, and able to answer all our questions about the wildlife and local history. I want to thank the whole organization: it was a deeply moving experience, lived in safety and comfort. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to try it.

We had a lovely and life-changing safari experience with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris. I felt like I was in a National Geographic documentary observing the animals in their natural habitat. Our guide and driver was eager to share his knowledge about the fauna and flora we were encountering. He made sure we would have a positive experience in collaboration with our safari consultant, with whom we were in contact anytime we needed anything. A very positive fact that I would like to mention is that when I forgot a gift at one of the lodges of the park and when I realised it we were already heading out of the park, the managing team back at Arusha made every effort to find and transfer the gift back Arusha (where we were heading to) on time. This was a precious moment for me as I didn't lose the beautiful object I had bought as a souvenir and it is not a given that everyone could have done for me. In general, the tour operator made sure that everything was rolling smoothly for us. Also, when an accommodation happened to be overbooked they managed to find us another lodge, which happpened to be super luxurious, which we were not expecting of course. This was a shared safari with 4 more people apart from my friend and I, and it turned out very fun and comfortable. I recommend the Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris. Our guide and driver tried to take us everywhere and see all the animals possible. Final point is the selection of lodges within Serengeti park, which were an experience by themselves and really very nice and cute.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our 3-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro during the Great Migration. We were extremely lucky to witness the entire Big Five—and even more! This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that everyone should experience at least once. Our guide, Jonas, was highly professional and ensured we got up close to all the animals. His knowledge and expertise made the experience even more special. The food was delicious and plentiful, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip. On top of that, this company offers one of the most affordable safari experiences, with services that are just as good—if not better—than many others. Highly recommended!

Since the beginning, including the planning of the tour, they were very patient, kindly, comprehensive and always supportive. They planned for us several options so my family and I can decided, the food they provided delicious, the accommodations accordingly to the plan were clean and comfortable, and the guida tour called mosha was the best, incredible person, always ready to help. This was a great honeymoon trip. During our Safari stay, we experienced different accommodations and saw all the big 5 animals. Our guide Fazil was a great person, and Gasper also prepared some nice surprises for us. Their house has a high cost performance ratio and the itinerary is also very well arranged。
