August to October (dry season) is peak season, when wildlife concentration is highest and roads are passable. July-September is also excellent, with cooler temperatures. You can see all Big Five animals: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and black rhinos. The park is famous for massive elephant herds (up to 3,000 during dry season).
