I joined a gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi. I was assisted with the process of obtaining the gorilla permit, and they helped me with all the procedures. They also gave me useful information about the surrounding areas, which was incredibly helpful. The permit usually costs $800, but thanks to a government campaign, I was able to get it for $600. Since the waiting time at the office to receive the permit can be quite long, it’s better to go early in the morning. In the Ruhija area, there are several gorilla groups, so I was able to encounter a gorilla family after about 30 minutes of trekking. The appearance of the group’s dominant silverback was overwhelmingly powerful and intimidating, yet at the same time, there was something calm, warm, and gentle in his eyes. It felt like stepping into a quiet and deeply profound world. It was an incredibly rich experience—truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Thank you, Peter.

My trip was very, very last minute, but Benjamin went above and beyond to arrange everything I asked for — and even things I didn’t know I needed. The mountain gorilla safari itself was absolutely wonderful: breathtaking scenery, an incredible gorilla encounter and an amazing hike through a thick forest. But mostly; Benjamin is just a genuinely great guy — friendly, calm, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. He gave me a lot of options, even suggested me to go with a local organization in Bwindi if it would be cheaper. If you’re considering a gorilla safari in Uganda, I absolutely recommend Gatsio Safiriz. Thank you so much for everything!

3-Day Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park Safari I booked my 3-day low-budget joining safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park with Benjamin from Gatsio Safariz. Although I booked my trip very spontaneously (two weeks in advance), everything went smoothly. Communication with Benjamin was excellent (which isn't a given in Uganda and Tanzania), and Benjamin was available at all times. The tour guide who accompanied the trip was also excellent and did everything he could to ensure we had the best safari! I would 100% recommend Gatsio Safariz!

I cannot recommend Gatsio Safariz enough! I did the 3-day Murchison Falls tour and it was an experience of a lifetime. From the beginning, Benjamin was incredibly communicative and helpful in making sure the trip was well tailored to our budget and interests. Throughout the safari, Benjamin and our guide/driver Alex were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we made the most out of the trip. The accommodations were nice and the vehicle was clean, comfortable, and even equipped with a cooler for drinks and outlets to charge phones. Between the hike to Murchison Falls, game drives, a boat tour, the rhino sanctuary, and an additional chimpanzee trek, the days were packed with excitement and exceeded expectations! By the end of the trip, Alex and Benji felt more like old friends than tour operators and guides. I cannot thank them enough for an incredible experience! 2 day to Murchison Falls

We had only a short window of time to fit in a safari while in Uganda and were happy we chose Gatsio. We fit a lot in during our 2 day visit, saw all the animals we hoped for, and stayed in comfortable accommodations. The company was easy to books, communicate with, on time. The guide was friendly and knowledgable. I would book with Gatsio again.

Amazing...

I was coming to Uganda for volunteerwork and i also liked to explored more of Uganda in my free time, i am a travelagent. The first nights i stayed at Acacia Villas, a quiet, nice place, with lovaly staff, at the top of a hill, close to Acacia Mall. There i met Benjamin, a very nice and driven person. We talked about the safaris, my wishes for the short time i had and Benjamin gave me very good advice. I also could share a landcruiser to lowe the price. The communication with Benjamin was very good, he listen to what you want and he arranged everything in short time, great! I liked so much the safaris, nature and excursions; Murchinfalls, rhinowalk, boattour, Lake Mburo, safari, biking and the Gorilla tracking.. Drivers and guides were very professional and the accomodations great, little lodges, glamping with beautiful restaurants en views, all i wanted. So i enjoyed my time in Uganda very much, thank you Benjamin and also staff from Acacia Villas!

I had always dreamed of visiting Uganda, and Gatzio Safari made that dream come true. The entire team was incredible — Nickson, Benjamin, and Josh, who was an amazing guide and driver. I planned a trip alone, and you were the fastest and most courteous among the many travel agencies. The price was also very reasonable. The people I was supposed to go with canceled, so my schedule changed, but you communicated with me in a very trustworthy way throughout the process.
