We choose the 3 day Safari Tour in the Nyerere National Park while staying in Mloka and i can tell, it were 3 perfect days full of fun, joy, and Information. The hosts at the Camp were very kind and the food was nice aswell. The walking Bush Safari as well as the safari on boat was very nice, but one of the Highlights for sure was the breathtaking Nationalpark with all its beautiful animals and landscapes. But the guy who made the trip unforgettable was our Guide Michael! One of the kindest souls we‘ve ever seen, he showed us everything we loved to see and was looking, that we‘re good all the time. For the game drive he brought a trainee called Tikko, he also was so nice to us and a soul full of joy! If you get Michael as your Guide, you can feel very lucky. We definitely coming back once again, hoping, we getting to see Michael again!

The safari was truly surreal, and our guide, Frank, was absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals we encountered. Safari guide Saloniki was so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. He provided helpful information about the animals and made sure to find as many animal sightings as possible. Trip was easy and hassle free. Well worth the price!

We had an amazing time on the full day safari and the waterfalls hike. The transfers were so smooth and efficient, staff very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We met some inspiring people who gave us a beautiful insight into their culture. Always so quick to respond to messages too! A trip that was well worth the money and the hype, would highly recommend.

Our 2night/Safari with Kihindo has been a wonderful experience from all points of view. Our guide was very competent and well prepared on animals and wildlife, as well as a great company during our days together. The Safari experience at Mikumi Park was beyond our best expectations, as I've never seen so many animals in just a single day in any other park I went before. Accommodation at Bastiani Camp was great too, with super spacious bungalows/rooms equipped with all comforts. In conclusion, a more than positive experience, absolutely recommended for those who want to have a splendid Safari without spending too much money.

It was perfect. The guide, the driver and the company was so good, they are very happy and attention. The times and the plan was perfect. Te transport was so confortable. Mikumi is too good and there are a lot of animals. Hotel was good also and food is okay. We are very happy to choose this company.

We had amazing time at this Safari. We handled the booking with Winnie. She was really fast with answers and she was really polite. Our guide was William and we loved him. He was very professional and lovely. William teached alot about Tanzanian nature and about the culture. William was very good at finding the animals. He always made sure that we were okay. He was always on time waiting for us. We got to see everything what we wanted. We saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, lion and many more. We also loved the walking safari. Our guide DeeDee was amazing person and he teached us alot about his culture and about the nature. People should know that the walking safari is more about the culture not about seeking for animals. The food was great we didn't feel hungry at any point. We got some cold beers after the Safaris, they tasted great. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very polite and nice. We would recommend this to everybody, thank you very much.

What a wonderful time we had with Kihindo Tours
From the moment we first contacted Kihindo Tours and Safaris it felt right. Winnie's replies were fast, polite and informative, whatever we wanted she was happy to provide, adding a tour of Dar es Salaam to the end of our safari as we had time to spare before our early morning flight. We spent three days and two nights in Nyerere National Park with our guide Saloniki and driver William. When they collected us from our hotel they were polite and welcoming, we immediately felt at home with them and knew that we would be well taken care of nothing we asked of them was too much trouble. To anyone considering a safari with Kihindo I would highly recommend Saloniki and William, you will be well taken care of and they are a credit to the company.

Amazing experience, once in a lifetime
Saloniki was our safari guide and he was excellent. He explained to us a lot about the local animals and he did his best to let us see as many animals as possible, in fact we managed to see liones, zebras, giraffes and also a group of elephants crossing the road right in front of us! It was an incredible and unforgettable experience thanks to Saloniki!

We visited Nyerere and Mikumi national parks, accomodation was great in both parks, and safaris were amazing. The transfert between Nyerere and Mikumi was a long drive though. The guide William was amazing, we really enjoyed his knowledge about nature and animals, and he was very thoughtful with everyone of us, on particular with kids.

Great experience! We were a group of three from Finland and visited Mikumi for a 1-night, 2-day safari at the beginning of December. Everything was well-organized and went smoothly, from communication and pickups to activities. The accommodation and food were of high quality. Price was very reasonble. We highly recommend Kihindo Tours & Safaris if you’re planning a safari! Our safari guide - Michael was really good, he had amazing positive energy and was very knowledgeable about Mikumi and the animals there. He was very dedicated to making sure that we would get the most out of our experience in Mikumi, whether that was seeing as many of the animals there as possible or giving us tidbits of information about various things regarding the national park. We were very glad that he was our guide for this safari. On the 2nd day we went on a bushwalk with a local Maasai guide, where we learned more about the plants and birds of the area before visiting a Maasai tribe to learn more about their way of life. It was a very enjoyable experience. The timing (beginning of December) was perfect, with slightly cloudy weather that wasn’t unbearably hot, and it wasn’t peak tourist season. Mikumi is a great choice if you’re planning a short safari, as the area is smaller compared to the Serengeti, making it possible to see a variety of animals in a short amount of time. Thank you very much for this amazing experience!
