Saaloniki was excellent we saw Lion, Hippos, Elephants, Giraffes all within the morning. He knew the exact areas of where to go, highly recommend!

My husband and I did the safari tour for our honeymoon and we loved it so much! It was very well organised! We enjoyed it a lot, the food was great, value for money was incredible and the staff were all so lovely. Our tour guide Guston was well knowledgeable about the animals and quite passionate which made our experience better. We had so much fun hanging out with him over the course of 3 days. Winnie was also great to deal with when making the booking and she was quick to respond to all of my queries. We would highly recommend this tour to others as well. Beautiful country, people and animals!

Perfect Communication, Tour Guide, Accommodations, and Parks!
Before we even left Germany, we were in frequent contact with Winnie to organize our safari. She responded incredibly quickly and attentively – we've never experienced this level of service before! Even during the trip, she made sure everything was running smoothly and that we were happy. Our guide, Michael, was an absolute highlight! We’d describe him as a walking Wikipedia of nature, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture, all combined with a fantastic sense of humor. Whether on safari or engaging in fun and insightful conversations over lunch or dinner, we had an absolut amazing time with him! As for the parks, we visited both Nyerere and Mikumi. They were completely different but breathtaking in their own unique ways! We highly recommend visiting both, and we were lucky enough to see lions, a leopard, elephants, and many other animals. The accommodations were excellent! At Mloka Safari Lodge, the service and hospitality were outstanding, and at Camp Bastian, the architecture of the lodge was truly one of a kind. We would absolutely travel with Kihindo and Michael again!

Everything flows smoothly
My first contact was with Pilly, who personalized our experience, and I can say that the whole process with Pilly was very helpful and easy. Pilly redid several proposals until we got what we wanted, we paid the deposit with complete confidence, the transfers were all on time with our name in the right places and were always very helpful and friendly as well. When we arrived at the park, we met Nuhu, who is an incredible person! He made a HUGE effort to ensure we saw all the animals in the park, taught us a lot about wildlife, told us stories about his village... It was incredible! I knew that going on a safari would be one of the experiences of my life, but I feel lucky to say that Pilly and Nuhu were part of it. Thank you very much!

Fantastic tour operator
Kihindo is a fantastic operator. We booked a 3/4 day tour with safari, visit to the Masai village and hiking to Sanje waterfalls. Our tour guide Mike was amazing - really knowledgable, fun and professional. They even helped us when our flight lost our baggage :) Would highly recommend Kihindo!

On all questions asked Prior to the Trip have been replied to very fast. The Driver who brought US to Mikumi was very friendly and responded to the wishes we had. Also the Guide was very friendly and gave us some very good and interesting information about the animals and environment. Thanks to the Team WE experienced a great time in Mikumi national Parc.

Friendly and responsible staff
We had a great safari experience with Kihindo Tours. Drivers picked us up on time whether it was a hotel or a train station. Guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Nuhu and Saloniki are well-experienced guides who had answers to all our questions during our game drives in Mikumi National Park. We saw all the wild animals except leopards, which are pretty hard to find. My husband and I are thankful for the amazing trip we had.

The safari was excellent and perfectly organized. The Agency (Kihindo) was always professional and responsive. Michael (our driver and guide) was truly exceptional. He was definitely passionate about his job and really knowledgeable. We managed to see so many animals and took so many pictures. Michael was always on time and available to help. Accommodation and food were both excellent. Easy communication with them since the booking. Definitely a tour and agency I strongly recommend!

Isaya of Kihindo Safaris was my tour guide on two amazing safaris over the last two weeks: the first a three-day safari at Nyerere National Park/Salous with work colleagues, and the second a three-day safari at Mikumi National Park with my family. All of my pre-safari dealings with Kihindo Safaris were incredible: from the moment I inquired about different tour options, Kihindo’s responses were prompt and clear. This made coordination easy as I was traveling on a complicated work trip with a lot of logistics. Isaya made things straightforward but was also flexible to accommodate changes and questions about different options for tours and payment. As for the tours themselves, they exceeded all expectations. Isaya is a talented tour guide - he knows both parks very well and we saw such a wide variety of animals at different locations and at different times of day when we visited. He was knowledgeable about the parks and their many inhabitants and was often “first on the scene” at a given location to see an exciting animal. He added interesting cultural add-ons to each safari - at Selous, a walking safari with a bushman, and at Mikumi, a visit to a Maasai village. Isaya kept us on task and schedule which we appreciated. The accommodations were also excellent, convenient and exceeded our expectations. As Kihindo is a small business, I was pleased to support them rather than a larger tour group company where the tour guides are subcontractors or staff. Kihindo Safaris is a highly entrepreneurial business and I know I received a high value for the services rendered. I will recommend Kihindo Safaris without hesitation to those taking safari trips at parks throughout Tanzania.

We had a 2-days safari with Saloniki and Nuhu, great guides and excellent guys. We are been particularly lucky and we sow a lot of wild animals (probably it's enough to talk about 18 lions in 2 days...). The organization was perfect. My compliments!

If you’re hesitating to book a safari tour, don’t!
We’ve had an incredible experience with Kihindo from start to finish. Within the hour of submitting a request for a quote, Winnie sent us an itinerary. She was helpful and quick to respond, and made booking onto the tour a breeze. We were picked up in Dar es Salaam by Adam, who is very conscientious and friendly. The journey to Mikumi and back was very smooth thanks to him. We’re so glad to have had Saloniki as our safari guide. He knows so much and is happy to share facts and answer questions. He’s got eagle eyes and would spot animals at incredible distances. We would’ve been happy seeing an animal or two, but ended up seeing elephants, baboons, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions feasting, a lioness and two cubs, pumbas, impalas, and much more. Saloniki was so quick to get us in and always tried his utmost best to provide us with an exceptional experience. He took photos for us and always asked if we were happy with where to go next, though we were happy to trust his expertise. Overall, Saloniki really made this experience unforgettable with his patience and kindness, and we hope to be back for more safaris to explore all that Tanzania has to offer. Thank you, Saloniki, all the best to you and hope to see you again!! Do book onto a tour — you’ll regret not doing it. This was truly an incredible trip.

Unforgettable and incredible
Myself and my friend went with this operator and we could not recommend them enough. Our guide Frank took such good care of us, made us feel safe and answered all of our questions. He took his time showing us the wildlife and doing his best to make sure we could see every animal on our list (which we did🥳) It was my birthday during the trip and Frank made me a birthday cake and made the day so special. It was an unforgettable experience. Camp Lilac is where we stayed and the hosts are amazing, so full of life and kind. I would love to do this trip all over again! Thank you Frank ❤️
