It was wonderful especially with explanation of the animal behaviour.

It was great. We have seen a lot of animals. The guide was incredible, he was so knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go. And explained the animal behaviour a long the way. The masai family we visited was also very nice. It was kind of awkward in the beginning, but they were so kind and explained their way of living so patiently.

Amazing experience! Great safari!

What an incredible safari trip! Communication for planning it was smooth, our guide Mike was amazing, great driver, knew how to handle every situation, and full of information to share about the animals which were really close, bastion hotel was really good with delicious food, even the rain didn’t bother us.

The experience was awsome, but i think we were lucky to have the best guid in Tanzania. Michael is a very good driver who will drive you safely inside Tanzania. Also he will take care of you and try to make your experience unbelievable. Also, with Michael, you won’t just look some animals, you will learn A LOT about savanna and wild life, thanks to his knowledge that he share with passion. Ask for Michael if you can, trust me you will never forget it!

Best Safari Ever! We saw everything we had hoped to see and more.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of going on our very first safari at Mikumi National Park, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we were picked up from our hotel on the morning of our trip, we felt extremely welcomed by the amazing team at Kihindo Tours and Safaris. Winnie, in particular, was so kind and attentive, ensuring that we felt comfortable and safe both to and from the adventure. Once in the park, we were lucky to have Jackson as our driver. His skill behind the wheel and deep passion for his job were truly admirable. He seemed to have a sixth sense for finding wildlife and making sure we had the best views possible. Our Maasai guide, Saloniki, added special touch to the trip. His energy and enthusiasm were absolutely infectious, making the whole experience feel even more vibrant and exciting. We had an absolute blast, and would highly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. Whether it's your first time or you're a seasoned traveler, you won't be disappointed!

Very competent, knowledgeable and kind!

We had the most amazing day with Kihindo Safaris in Mikumi National Park!! The communication was great with Winnie beforehand as she organised everything for us. They picked us up straight from our accommodation which was so easy and convenient! The train ride was also very smooth, but do remember to NOT bring any snacks or water with you, as they are not allowed on the train to Morogoro. We were then picked up by our guide for the day, Saloniki, by the train station. The drive was only about 1h50 to the park. When we got there we met our driver Jackson and started our game drive through the park. We got very lucky with all the animals that day, and part of that is because of both Saloniki and Jackson being amazing guides for us! Water, lunch (with soda) is included which was super nice. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Expert and passionate jung guy!

We really enjoyed our safari with William! We stayed with him 5 days traveling from Dar et Salam to Mikumi and Ruaha seeing lot of different animals! I really enjoyed also the typical safari car, a really big Toyota Land Cruiser with open roof. I have to Thank william also to have promptly solved an engine problem during the trip allowing us to continue enjoying our trip!

Excellent communication, organisation and guides.

I can throughly recommend Kihindo Tours for a safari in southern Tanzania. My guides were hardworking, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I travelled solo and always felt safe. Loved the great wildlife viewing. Visited Ruaha and Mikumi National Park -5 day trip. I was limited on time but probably would have done an extra day in Ruaha. There is a lot of traveling on this trip which was clearly stated in the detailed itinerary that I received upon booking. Accommodation was clean, comfortable but simple. Due to the busy days I didn’t spend much time in the accommodation. I very much enjoyed my time on this trip.

The holiday was perfect , the food was soo good our guides Saloniki and Nuhu were amazing the showed us every animal there was. We had the best time and got to see soo many diffrent kinds of animals , they answered every question we had and explained everything. All in all this was the best guided safari i could have wished for, i am truly blessed to have been a part of all of it.

An unforgettable experience! The safari was incredibly well-organized, with stunning landscapes and amazing wildlife sightings. The drivers were punctual and professional. Our guide Danford was knowledgeable and made sure we were safe while still having fun. The staff at the hotel we stayed at were really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Incredible experience

Our tour guide, Danford, was extremely professional. Punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had some incredible encounters with so many animals - lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos, and lots of other creatures. Danford had interesting information about all of the animals, as well as the plants, geography, and history of the area, which provides an interesting, holistic understanding of Ruaha National Park.

Such a great professionnel agency

When we arrived we went to a Masaï village near to Mikumi Park, the best experience ever because i could feel the energy and the vibe of this community. Theses 2 next days we went to Mikumi Park and we saw lions, elephants, hippopotamus, zebras, impalas, gnous, buffaloes, giraffes, monkeys, foxes, crocodile, lézards, eagles, vultures and many others birds. We had a amazing guide ( Godfrey) and a great driver ( Willian), there were explaining everything the story and culture of the beautiful Park. I would like to thanks them to have be a part of this experience. I recommend this agency 100%.

Knowledgeable and friendly

Tour was great, we got to see all and more of the animals we wanted and enjoyed the company of Danford and Donald. Danford was very educative and took the time to drive around finding the fight spots while Donald helped spot the animals and kept us engaged. We enjoyed our time very much and highly recommend.

Our Safari has been incredible thanks to Isaya and William from Kihindo tours & safaris. I would like to start by saying that they always been very punctual, they even arrived 1 hour before to our hotel to start the Safari and pick us up. They do whatever they can to accommodate the clients and helped us out in different situations: the airline company lost our backpacks and they brought us to do a little bit of shopping to buy some clothes and they also drove us to the airport 2 days later to pick them up. They always did the extra mile for us and they have been extremely available. They are very knowledgeable about the animals and the culture in general and they were always very happy to answer to our questions in depth. We spent a lot of time together but they have never been intrusive. We appreciated their positivity, it was great to spend the Safari together. Also the price is unbeatable and the lodge we went in Selous was great. The communication was very easy and Isaya answered to us always within 2 hours. The car was comfortable, clean and reliable and Isaya is a very good driver and he know how to drive in the parks, even with mud. This Safari has been a success and we will remember it through the rest of our lives thanks to Kihindo.
