From reservation negotiation till end of safari they are really care so much and give wonderfull service, cause we are a family with two child safety and flexibility was important for us and thanks to our guide and driver he care about so much that issues he is so gentle and fulfill all our requitements as well.

We did a 3 day safari to Mikumi National Park and very much enjoyed our experience. The people at camp Bastian are extremely helpful and kind. Our tour operator and driver were knowledgeable about the animals we saw at the park as they provided additional information about the animals and the park during our tour. Ps: the grilled goat during dinner was delicious

The safari to remember for a lifetime

We went from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi 3-days safari with Isaya and it was the best decision we made. The trip was worth every penny! We saw all the animals (including mr. Leopard) really close. Also, we got a lot of new information about all the animals, Tanzania and local life. Isaya is a talented young man who does what he loves with passion. He is really chatty, punctual and has a good sense of humour. Isaya took the extra mile and made all the stops we asked for, to buy fresh fruits and cashews on our way back to Dar es Salaam. And of course, he helped us to pick us the best possible fruits. But what's even more amazing, is that he organised ferry tickets to Zanzibar, drove us to our hotel, where we picked up the suitcases and then he took us to the port. We really enjoyed this trip and it was perfect length. Isaya found a way to our hearts! Totally recommend to go to the safari with Isaya, you won't be disappointed! Hakuna matata, tasa-tasa!

Incredible experience with the best guides

The tour was great. We were picked up at the appointed time from our hotel, accompanied by a guide and a driver. On the way we were chatting and it was very pleasant. It is true that the road is very long (from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi Park was about 6 hours), but we stopped for lunch before arriving and there was no problem to stop at some point to stretch or go to the toilet. Once in the park we immediately started the game drive, to look for animals. The guide was telling us all about the animals we were finding, as well as about the park in general and the other parks in Tanzania. The driver knew the park well and took us around the area very well. Even at sunset they took us to see lions. The first night we slept in the park itself, in very well equipped huts. Dinner was also included. The next day we started the game drive very early (at 6:30 before breakfast) to see the animals waking up, which is when they are most active. We had breakfast and then we went around the park until noon. At the end of the tour we saw lionesses and their cubs, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and many birds. The second night we slept outside the park, in Camp Bastian, which is super nice, full of nature. We had dinner and early the next morning after breakfast, we returned with the guide and the driver back to Dar. The most incredible thing is that the road out of the park crosses the park, so we saw giraffes and elephants. Overall a very good tour, both the guide and the driver were super nice and pleasant, you could tell they knew the area and liked their job. It is true that it is a very short tour and at the end it gets tiring, but I recommend it if you don't have much time to go to the big parks in the north of the country.

Excellent One Day Tour to Mikumi National Park

This was an excellent tour with Kihindo Tours for three reasons: 1. Convenience From the moment that I was picked up in the morning, until the moment I arrived back at the hotel at night, every part of the tour was planned and taken care of. I never needed to pay anything extra, or wait for a service. Everything was arranged perfectly. 2. Quality of Guides and Drivers My three drivers and guides, Isaya, Zegega, and Jackson, were friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I enjoyed spending time with them all day. 3. Experience in the Park I was able to see all of the animals that I was expecting: lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, zebras, elephants, etc. Jackson knew all of the places to find them, and I came away very satisified to see them all.

My husband and I just went on a 5-day safari with Kihindo Safari, on the Mikumi & Ruaha tour. I have no words to describe the experience. First of all, the face of the company Winnie. We had a lovely time at our safari with Kihindo. We did a 3-day safari, and experienced a lot in just these 3 days. During the safari we saw a lot of animals, such as elephants, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes and even African wild dogs! We booked a 4-day, 3-night safari to Mikumi National Park combined with a visit to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, and the entire experience was simply perfect from start to finish! Our safari in Mikumi National Park with Danford and Donald was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they made the experience seamless, fun, and full of unforgettable moments. Both were extremely knowledgeable about the park, wildlife behavior, and even the smaller details that made every sighting more meaningful.
