An outstanding tour and travel company in Africa

Kubwa Five Safaris is a reliable source for all your travel needs; not only they being a reliable source but they provide excellent travel services as well. We booked with them for a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and we had a trip of a lifetime. Activities were well arranged and we greatly every activity. The game drives and boat ride were outstanding; I saw animals that I had never seen. We really like the hotel booked for us, Engiri safari lodge was great hotel with great customer care, and the meals were delicious. The lodge is in the middle of the park, and you get to see animals anytime passing by, elephants were grazing besides our lodge and one of the nights buffaloes grazed from the same place. I enjoyed seeing them grazing at a very close distance. Thank you for an outstanding vacation to Queen Elizabeth National Park that you gave us. We will book with you again in future; you guys are the best travel company in Uganda.

Wonderful Place

This was my first time going to Kenya and also my first to use a tour and travel company for my holiday. I booked as a solo traveler but I wanted to join other travelers, Kubwa Five Safaris made a great arrangement and I was added to the group that was full of life. We were in Maasai Mara in 2 nights, lake Naivasha 1 night and Amboseli National Park for 2 nights. I worked with Joseph concerning this trip all through, for about 3 months before my trip. He never got tired of my many questions and reservations that I had. He provided with me various options, and this made my decision-making easier. I booked for a budget safari and I paid in installments and everything went smooth. The drive was on time at the airport, transfer from the airport to the hotel was prompt with no hitches- we are very time cautious, so this was quite a plus for us. The pick up from the hotel to the airport was also smooth. I had a wonderful wildlife vacation in Maasai Mara. After the two-game drives in Maasai Mara, we visited the Maasai cultural village, I got to learn a lot about the Maasai Mara. All in all, thank you Joseph and your team for being reliable. In a nutshell, thank you for giving me the confidence I needed. Given a chance, I would recommend your services to anyone and I can't wait to book again you.

Unforgettable experience

We loved our tour with Kubwa Five Safaris. We spent 9 nights in Tanzania and visited a number of national parks; Serengeti national park, Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro national park, and Lake Manyara national park and saw a bunch of animals including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, cheetah, buffaloes, etc and enjoyed the beautiful sceneries of Tanzania that I have always read about. I can't say enough of how incredible the trip was with our guide Benson, he was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the parks very well and gave us lots of information on the animals. And he did his best so we could see many animals and so we could have a great time. Everything was well organized and we were able to see and learn so many things. The lodges were amazing. The trip was a dream come true. We were very happy with the whole trip and the organization. We really recommend going with Kubwa Five Safaris and with Benson as a driver.

We booked 3 Days Murchison Falls Adventure Safari. With so many operators it was hard to know who to choose. This safari offered a personal family feels and is entirely a local business. We totally loved our experience. It was organized so well by Kubwa Five Safaris, the team kept in touch all the time, providing updates and information. Our guide was amazing. He gave us truly an unforgettable safari. Food and accommodation were spot on and completely suited our needs. We are already planning our next trip back.

From the beginning of the booking process until the end of the safari in Uganda, the manager of this safari was very responsive and took great care of my individual requests. He accompanied me during my trip from Entebbe Airport to Murchison Falls National Park. Joseph was an excellent guide. The Murchison Falls National Park experience was way well beyond my expectations - fantastic game drive and boat tour on the Nile. We saw various animals in the wild and birds that I had only seen on TV and wildlife documentaries only. The lodge had delicious meals, it also was a great basis for our excursions, it is located inside the park, we could see animals right through windows at night. I can fully recommend them to others who would want to make an excellent first-hand experience of Uganda.

We recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime safari across East Africa, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our goal was to combine different countries and wildlife experiences, and Kubwa Five offered the perfect variety of combinations. From the very beginning, the team's commitment to providing excellent service was clear. They were incredibly organized and attentive, giving us all the necessary information well in advance of our trip. In fact, they stayed in touch with us throughout the planning stages and even followed up on our flights and all other details before arrival, which helped to ensure everything went smoothly. Our adventure began in the breathtaking landscapes of Rwanda and Uganda, where we were fortunate to be guided by Smith. He was incredibly approachable, always happy to answer our questions and share fascinating insights about the local life connecting with us on both personal and educational levels. What impressed us most was his dedication to ensuring we experienced everything possible, always striving to help us see all the sights and fully immerse ourselves in every moment, making him a true highlight of our trip. Our trip continued to Kenya, an extraordinary experience, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Godfrey. His deep knowledge of the landscape and sharp observation skills gave us the best chance to witness rare and breathtaking wildlife encounters. His ability to read the behavior of the animals made the experience even more memorable. He was always willing to wait for the ideal moment, making sure we didn’t miss any of the incredible wildlife action. The last part of our safari took us to Tanzania, where we were greeted by our incredible guide, Alfa! From the moment we met him, it was clear that Alfa was a safari expert, and his knowledge of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was unparalleled. He knew the areas like the back of his hand and was able to locate wildlife with ease—spotting animals before other safari vehicles, which gave us an incredible advantage. He could predict their movements and always positioned us perfectly for the best views. His sharp eye allowed us to see the Big 5, encounters that we might have missed otherwise… While luck plays a role in a safari, it’s the expertise of a guide like Alfa that truly makes all the difference. We’ll always remember his unwavering enthusiasm, even after countless game drives over the years. His desire to help us understand the animal kingdom, the culture and the places we visited enriched our experience and gave us a deeper connection to everything we saw. While all the guides we had throughout our trip truly represented the company at its best, we were also impressed by how the company maintained constant communication with our guides ensuring that everything ran flawlessly. This attention to detail made us feel reassured and well-supported from start to finish. It was clear that our experience was a top priority, and we genuinely felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire adventure. I booked the 3 days tour to Murchision Falls National Park. It was definitely a breathtaking journey. Joel was not only a professional guide but treat me as a friend. I really had a great time in Uganda. The safaris was amazing and top of Murchision falls was breathtaking. Boat cruise was definitely a must in Uganda. I saw a lot of wild animals. It was an awesome trip

I was told by my friend that I should visit Uganda, the Pearl of Africa but I was reluctant at first until one day I decided to go for my vacation in Uganda and I can say that it was worth it. Thanks to Kubwa Five Safaris for planning my vacation and made it really wonderful as I got the chance to explore beautiful things found in Uganda. The amazing Murchison Falls found in most scenic national park, mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and other primates such as chimpanzees. Trekking the Mountain Gorillas was an activity out of this world. The meals were great and hospitality in hotels was excellent. I recommend this company to anyone planning for a vacation in Uganda.

The best Safari company in Uganda

Kubwa Five Safaris had the most reasonable rates, and they were great in communication, so I felt pretty good about booking a tour with them. Kubwa Five Safaris was more attentive, tailor-making the tour to our exact specifications, giving excellent tips and recommendations, and putting through all the detailed changes we requested quickly and efficiently. Our driver/guide, Joan was a really lovely and knowledgeable person. We greatly enjoyed this company for the days we were in Rwanda. The gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park was beyond all expectations in terms of our proximity and views of the gorillas. We trekked the Sabinyo group and after a couple of hours, we met the endangered giants up in the hills. It was an amazing experience to see the gorillas close up in the wild and this is one of the most memorable trips that I have ever taken. In the afternoon, after the trek, we enjoyed a relaxed evening at the Iby'wachu Village where we learned about the history, culture, and heritage of the Rwandan people. This is another amazing experience that you should not miss while in Rwanda. All of our accommodation was lovely and really showed us the variety Rwanda has to offer. From staying in a luxury high rise hotel in Kigali to jungle camping in Kagera National Park and staying in a variety of safari lodges, all hotels were lovely, with great facilities, great food and drinks, friendly staff (& wildlife!) and lovely rooms. I strongly advise you to request Joan as your driver and guide when you are in Rwanda! For one week, she was both our friend and our professional guide; enabling us to see all the highlights of a truly beautiful country in a relatively short length of time. I have no hesitation in recommending Kubwa Five Safaris to anyone planning a safari holiday in Rwanda in the future.

Professional trustworthy Uganda owned company operating in multiple African countries.

We decided on the 19 day Kubwa Five safari of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania in July 2025 because of their great reviews, they operate in multiple countries, and are a Uganda owned company. A guide from another tour company advised you pay more using a travel agent. I’ve been to Southern Africa and Tsavo west in Kenya before, but this was by far my best trip. In Uganda we met the friendliest people with smiles on their faces. I’m 70, so comfort was important and we chose the top end hotel option. Most were very good, some better than others. I found Wise the best low cost way to transfer payment. Highlights of Uganda included Murchison Falls, Chimpanzees in Kibale, Gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest. The Batwa cultural tour and orphanage visit moved us. Our Uganda guide, Mustafa has been driving for 8 years which is important as some of the roads can be bumpy with no signs. Mustafa was outstanding, going out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our trip. He found tree climbing lions in Murchison Falls and shoebill storks on the last day driving back to Entebbe. In Kenya we saw an abundance of wildlife on the boat ride at Lake Naivasha staying at one of the best hotels, SOPA. The balloon ride in Maasai Mara was another memorable experience. We were apprehensive at first. Once floating gently above, we saw herds of wildebeest and zebra, along with lions with their kill. The cultural visit to the Maasai Mara was disappointing as they asked for money for everything although we got a taste as to how they live. I bought a lot of souvenirs to be shipped to Australia and could have used some advice on how to bargain. It was a long bumpy ride from Kenya to Tanzania where we got a new driver. We tried twice unsuccessfully to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara river at the Maasai Mara and northern Serengeti. I convinced my wife to go on the early morning drive in the northern Serengeti where there are fewer safari vehicles. We were rewarded with an incredible experience, herds of Wildabeest crossing the crocodile infested Mara river. Our driver got us in a great position for taking photos. Not once did we feel in danger from animals or people. We hardly had any insect bites, perhaps because it was the dry season. We were put in the group of gorillas not requiring a long hike and it only took 5 minutes to spot them. If you love nature, wildlife, and meeting people of different cultures and have an adventurous spirit, Kubwa Five is for you.
