Johnson is the BEST in sharing his love of Tanzania and the amazing animals with you!

This was my first trip to Africa and the beautiful country of Tanzania. I will never forget seeing the animals up close and feeling the peace as I did in Tanzania. Johnson, our safari guide, was outstanding! He is very educated in wildlife and he taught me a lot about the each species of animals. He is an amazing driver in the safari! I was so impressed with him driving on dirt roads, into craters, and out in the bush. Johnson and his expertise exceeded my expectations on this safari. I didn't expect the safari guide to be so compassionate about the wildlife, but Johnson definitely understands animal behavior and he shows respect for the animals. This safari wasn't just about the wildlife. It was the people I met along the way. The people of Tanzania were caring and went above and beyond for me. I will never be able to thank Johnson enough for the best trip of my lifetime. I did not want to leave and I am already planning on returning to Tanzania in 2027. Fantastic trip for a reasonable price.

This was our second safari with Meerkat. Both times they listened to what we wanted to see and did their best to make it happen. Our guides were very informative and a lot of fun to be around. They found a ton of animals and gave us the flexibility to make the trip ourselves. They were very responsive during the planning and booking process. All the lodging and camps were comfortable and had great food. Don’t hesitate to book your safari with them! Johnson and Aziz were great guides!
