Knowledgeable, communicative and fun to be around!

We had a magical 6-day Safari through Kenya with Moses and Andrew. Moses planned the trip perfectly with seamless communication and beautiful accommodations. He’s also a great photographer! And we couldn’t have done it without Andrew. He drove us to (3) reserves and on endless game drives. He is a fantastic driver and navigator, incredibly knowledgeable and a jokester. Be prepared for his game drive quizzes! Not to mention how many times he pulled over to help others on Safari – If you have a flat tire or get stuck in the mud, Andrew will be there to save you. We had a wonderful time on our once in a lifetime trip, thank you, Moran! Note: Final payment for Safari is due in USD cash when Moran picks you up.

The tour operator was reliable and kept us updated at every step

The 2-day safari was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Within only a 4-hour game drive, we were fortunate enough to spot both a lion and a leopard — an absolute highlight of the trip. On top of that, we saw plenty of other animals. The organization was good, we were kept updated about the schedule and travel arrangements. This safari exceeded my expectations and despite of its high cost I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable adventure in the wild.

I spent amazing time with a perfect guide, Andro(Kamau)! He is so kind, responsible and has much knowledge of animals. He tried to show us as many as animals, and drives very well. Also the company communicates well and gave us enough information about the program. Two thumbs up

Professional, flexible, excellent communication

Myself and a friend took a day tour to Hells Gate NP and Lake Naivasha with Moran tours. I chose Moran as the company was recommended by an acquaintance and I would now recommend to others. Both Moses and Daniel our guide were friendly, professional and accommodating. Communication was excellent. We had a fantastic day. The boat ride on Lake Naivasha and the walk on Crescent Island were the highlights. The bird life on the lake was fantastic, the guides were very knowledgeable, and Crescent Island was amazing, to be able to walk amongst zebra and giraffes was a dream. Beware that you need to pay the $30 fee for crescent island in cash, you cannot pay by card. The cycle in Hells Gate was cool but quite hard work, particularly on the way back (but that may be because we arrived late so only had 2 hours). Overall it was a great day and I would recommend.

The accommodation struck the perfect balance between comfort and immersion in nature. If you're considering a safari I can't recommend it enough. It's a rare opportunity to connect deeply with nature. The Safari was worth everything.

Excellent time at Maasai Mara with Jack who tailored the experience to our interests wonderfully!

We loved our experience from beginning to end! From the interesting drive with beautiful landscapes to the incredible journey through the reserve to the warm welcome at our overnight camp at Mara Enkajiang. Jack was a terrific guide, providing safe travel and thoughtful ways of make the trip special for us. He was knowledgeable about the birds and animals and the places to look for them in the reserve. We truly had a marvelous time. He went above and beyond in guiding us on the weekend safari expedition! (We did feel that there was room to improve the communication from the tour company to our guide so that he was better informed regarding the finances and what had been paid for in advance.) Thank you again for a marvelous experience!

Everything was organized on the highest level! The safari was exceptional! Moses explained all detailes and replied to all raised questions in advance. Our guide Ken was friendly and did his best to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and best routes. Everything was great. Excellent guides make all the difference!

Our guides, Moses and Peter, were simply incredible! They were warm, engaging, and enjoyed conversing on the longer drives from park to park. We visited multiple reserves during our trip, and our guides seemed to take the path less traveled when needed to get us perfect encounters with the animals whether it was the big 5, the special 5 and so on. Amazing experience with nice service and very close encounters with the animals

My girlfriend Aminata and I had an amazing trip with Rio as our driver and tour guide. We were picked up early in the morning at 05:30 followed by a beautiful view of the Great Rift Valley. We then had an 8 hour game drive. Highlights include getting right next to several different lion prides incl. a coalition of six males, as well as seeing cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, elands and lots of other kinds of antilopes. Rio went out of his way to make sure that we saw as much as possible, and we didn't end our game drive until 19:00 where we went to the eco lodge, for a lovely evening dinner with some of the local maasais ensuring that we had a pleasant and entertaining stay. The next day we went to a maasai village, which we highly recommend, before heading back to our hotel in Nairobi.

Moses and John were so knowledgeable!

We had a blast! Moses and John made sure we saw the big 5! It was an unforgettable experience, I wish I could safari every day! I didn’t know lions could hangout in trees until Moses showed my husband and I. The accommodations were roomy, comfortable and exactly what we needed after a long day of safari. My husband and I are teachers and he knew how important it was to see the children at the nearby school. He made sure it happened and arranged it for us. Thank you Moses!

Reliable and accomodating

We completed a two night Safari tour and had an amazing time. The booking process was very smooth and the operator responded right away to any questions we had. The pick up, drop off and travel to/from was efficient and also flexible. We stayed at a great camp with hot water, great food and clean space. The Safari itself was an amazing experience and our driver made visible effort to ensure we got the best visuals as far as possible. Great to connect with both Moses and Felix from Moran Tours!
