Good Communication and High Care

We booked 6 days mid range tour and combine with group tour. So, they are flexible. Special thanks to Joel who took care all ours special meal needs and game drive plans. They provided multiple accommodation options and booked based on our selections. Our tour guide Elly is well experienced guy and he did his best to find the great migration and the big 5. Thanks to him and the high interest of the Pilgrimage safaris, we succeed to see every thing including hunting, big 5, ugly 5, the great migration. Even if we took the group tour and the tour guide& SUV from different company, we have enjoyed the whole tour and when we have seen an issue, Joel took care of it. I hope they will growth their business and build their own fleet of cars& tour guides one day. Thanks for everything, especially last day good company for our 3,5hours flight postponement

My experience booking directly with Pilgrimage Safari has been incredible. Throughout the trip, our trusted person, Joel, was always on hand to ensure everything ran perfectly. He resolved any minor issues and helped us greatly during our stay in Tanzania, accompanying us even before our arrival, right up to seeing us off at the airport. The accommodations were wonderful; there were three in different locations, and all of them were incredible. I would definitely book with them again. Not only for the value for money, but also for the fascinating experience. I don't want to forget the guides they collaborate with on the safaris, who are the people who accompany you to the different parks, drive for hours, and always with the biggest smiles. Behind every safari, there is a lot of hard work in logistics, which they do incredibly well.

Reliable, inexpensive and still a great survice!

I booked a 3-day safari tour in Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with this operator. From the communication to the payment, everything went really well. I hadn’t had one problem during the tour and they picked me up at my hostel and brought me back with all my luggage after the tour. We had a well educated tour guide who did a great job and except for leopards which are hard to spot we were able to see the big five, serval cats, cheetah and many more animals! All in all I can highly recommend this operator!

From inquiries and booking to pick-ups, briefings, and the actual safari—right up until we returned to our hotel—everything ran on time, allowing us to maximize our safari experience. We even lucked out with an awesome shared group—it was so much fun meeting new people along the way. Joel’s response time is exceptional, unlike many other operators who slow down once you’ve paid a booking fee. He also went above and beyond when a flight of mine got canceled, actively monitoring the situation and offering practical tips. Plus, he explained a lot about Arusha, our city hub. Thanks to all this, we managed to spot the Big Five—truly unforgettable. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with five-star service!

Very professional tour operator

Everything was handled very professionally, Novatus answered all our mails directly and was very helpful throughout the trip. He picked out very nice accommodations and the driver was very experienced. We had warm lunch all days. Easy and accurate.

It was easy to dealt with this company from the beginning. I asked for quotations on safaris to several companies and they were quick to answer and to answer all my questions. Once I got to the country they were in contact with me and everything they offered was there. Joel Raymond was in contact to get my feedback and to answer questions. Great experience, safe safari

The experience was really good, we decided for this company and from the first moment the communication was fluid to organize a safari tailored to what we wanted in budget and accommodation and parks. Our guide was Agustino and I don't think there is a better guide than him, you can tell that he enjoys his job because he gives information about all the animals we see and he worries about the group enjoying themselves, a machine of a man. Some days we had to wait longer than usual to start the game drive, but that was due to other clients. We saw many animals and the Big 5, we go home with a great experience. Thanks to the guide Agustino, Novatus and team.

Reliable, good communication and great lodging

We chose Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris both because of the route and lodging but mainly because of good communication, where our wishes and questions were heard. And through out all the time Yohanes kept following up to make sure everything was fine - and it was. We stayed at really nice tented camps with good service. The best part was our guide Joel, who knew so much, saw the animals long before us and was really nice to be around. So all in all - a fantastic tour!

Our guide, Benjamin, was outstanding. He knew exactly where to find each animal, making every day exciting and memorable, and he was a wonderful companion throughout the trip. Joel also provided excellent recommendations and crafted a perfectly balanced itinerary. We were especially grateful for his advice after hiking the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano—taking a relaxing day at the hotel was exactly what we needed. Very friendly and great communication

We booked a 6 day mid-range safari from Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was a great trip which was organised by Gasper. He was very responsive throughout the whole process and even during the safari whenever we had an issue, he was available to help sort it out. The accommodation he booked was excellent, way better than what we’d expected. We saw all the animals we wanted to see. It would have been great if we could have spent more time looking for animals other than the Big 5 and have guides who provide better explanations of the animals and their behaviours but we had a guide book which helped. That is to be expected however on a shared safari. This is a common issue however and not something unique to Tanzania Pilgrimage. I would certainly recommend them! They even managed to arrange vegetarian meals throughout for my partner.

Fantastic experience!

We booked a 6 day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris. After inquiring about the safari Gasper quickly got in contact with me. He proposed some itineraries and asked what our expectations are about the safari. The whole planning and booking process was made very easily. Any questions I had were promptly answered by Gasper. Upon arrival in Tanzania our pickup was waiting for us at the airport. The first night at the hotel Gasper was waiting for us, to take us through the itinerary and answer any questions we might have before setting of on the safari. Gasper paired us with incredibly skilled guides and drivers. We managed to see all the animals we could only dream off, and many more. After arriving in our lodge on the first night Gasper contacted me to ask if everything was okay, and if he could do anything for us. Even though Gasper had travel during our safari, to areas with bad reception, he still kept in contact with me during the entire duration of the safari. The accommodations that were selected for us (mid range) were all very nice and comfortable. All in all we could not have asked for more. If you want an unforgettable safari in Tanzania I can only recommend Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris and Gasper.

Welcoming, friendly and a great tour operator

Tanzania Pilgrim were a great company to deal with. They were the best price for the best experience we could find. From the start they were quick to reply, friendly to communicate with and got us excited from the start. We were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5 along with a lot other amazing views that were all made possible by our driver. He knew what we came to see and worked hard to ensure we got the best experience we could get. The accomodation (mid range) throughout was all good especially the camp in serengati. A big thank you as well to the chef who came with us everyday. He ensured that we didnt just get boring lunch boxes like other tours but instead a great meal every lunch (and I believe breakfast and dinner for the others camping in our car). It was great to have a cold beer on the drive to accomodation every evening. Very much reccomend this company all was 100% to what was advertised.

We spent six days on safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Thanks to Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari, it was a very good and unforgettable time. Tanzania Pilgrimage first helped us plan our dream itinerary (for a reasonable price), then perfectly organised our time and provided us with an excellent guide, Fazil. We saw Africa's Big Five, the Great Migration, cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos and wonderful sunsets over the savannah. The animals we saw were sometimes very close. Everything went safely and on time. The accommodation provided, selected by Tanzania Piligrimage Safari, was of high quality. I can honestly recommend Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari to anyone who is going to Tanzania and wants to have a successful, safe and unforgettable safari.
