We had a wonderful 3 days tour to the Mikumi park. On the first day we had a hiking trip to the mountain villages and it was really great seeing the authentic life of the local people. We also took a ride through the Mikumi park and already spotted some animals. During the second day we had a very nice safari around the park and we really saw almost all the animals listed. As it was the rainy season, animals could be seen all around. We also visited the Masai village, which at first seemed a bit "touristy" but then again it showed the life of the people very well. We thought that one day for only safari was totally enough. Communication, pickup and everything was perfect! Isaya is one of the funniest and easy-going tour guides you could find so definitely recommend going!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
I think it was a good decision to choose Kihindo Tours for my safari because all the staff were excellent. The pickup service arrived at my hotel on time at 5 AM, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to start my journey smoothly. I then took the SGR to Morogoro, and upon arrival at the station, my driver to Mikumi National Park was very friendly. He made the transfer to the park’s entrance enjoyable and comfortable. Mikumi National Park is home to many animals, and my guide there was particularly kind and knowledgeable. He made an effort to bring me closer to the animals, allowing me to observe them up close. Thanks to him, I had a truly wonderful experience. During the safari, I was fortunate to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and hippos. It was an unforgettable experience to witness these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Spending just one day in Mikumi National Park was not enough to fully appreciate its beauty. I wish I had more time to explore and enjoy the park. Overall, the staff were kind and professional, and their follow-up after the booking was also excellent, which made the whole experience even more satisfying. I am very glad I chose this company.

Incredible experience
Firstly, Winnie our correspondant from Kihindo been very helpful and to organise the different activities in the trip on to choose the safari place. She been very patient, good adviser and reactive about all my questions (it was a lot). She already gave me a good impression of the company. About the trip, our driver/guide Bakary was very nice, patient and answer all the question we had. We been to a Massai village, it was a out of time experience and we also did the safary in Mikumi park who been as promised, incredible. Back in Dar es Salam, we also booked a tour of the city. Peter our guide of the day was also very nice, friendly and explained everything we was seeing. We been in many places, museums, markets, fish market, etc but also he took me in local places that he know for discovering more. Thank you very much to you all, you a big part of our enjoyment in Tanzania. I recommend 100000%!!

We recently went on a safari trip to Mikumi National Park with Kihindo Tours, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, smooth, and tailored to our needs. A huge thank you to Peter, our driver, who made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He was punctual, friendly, and always ensured we were well taken care of, even during long drives. And our safari guide, Salonikei, was nothing short of amazing! His deep knowledge of the park and the animals made the whole experience incredibly rich and exciting. He spotted animals we would have never seen on our own and explained everything with passion and patience. Kihindo Safaris is reliable and offers great value.
We found it easy and quick to book the safari. Our driver, Adam, communicated information well (timeline for the day, etc) and kindly agreed to take us to an ATM before we started our journey. He was a pleasure to be around and made the drive really smooth. Our guide, Saloniki, made the tour fun and exciting from the beginning. He is very friendly and relaxed and obviously really cares about his work and showing Mikumi’s wildlife to tourists. He has incredible eyesight for spotting animals. We were happy with seeing anything during the tour, including the landscape, but managed to see so much during our first game drive, including two lions having their dinner. Highly recommend this tour if you want an easy, hassle free and exciting time.

We had a great day at our one-day safari and saw a lot of animals. The communication with Winnie was great and clear, and we knew what we needed etc. for the tour. Our driver Jackson at the safari was great, and told us a lot about the animals during the day. 5/5 would recomend!

Kihindo tours deserves more than 5 stars! My wife and I took our 7-year old son and 13-year old daughter on a 2-day safari (1 day to see the animals and 1 day for a beautiful hike through the Uluguru mountains). Our experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone we met from Kihindo tours was extremely helpful and pleasant. We saw so many animals (6 lions) and loved our hike. The food was amazing everywhere, our lodging was beautiful, and service was excellent. We highly recommend Kihindo tours!

One of the best tour guides that we have ever had, he went above and beyond to make the tour best for us, made sure that we see and experience everything. He had so much knowledge, answered all our questions and explained everything to us. He was very friendly, funny and easygoing, it felt like we were driving around with a friend. Definitely 10/10!

Perfect in every way
We had a great experience with this company from start to finish. Winnie responded to our initial inquiry within a hour and was very happy to arrange a personalised tour for us. It was a private tour so we weren’t sharing. Our driver Isaiah was a great driver and guide, answering all our questions and getting us close to all the animals, including lions. He was very friendly, spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for him. It was good value for money and I would highly recommend this company

That was an extraordinary experience full of animals, joy, lots of knowledge and most importantly a special shoutout to an amazing guide William! Thanks to him we’ve seen giraffes, zebras, gnu, impalas and other antelopes, baboons, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, velvet monkeys and plenty of birds including eagles! We’ve also learned about a local flora. William gave us all the information we needed. He was very attentive to our needs and made a great effort to show us as many animals as possible from best angles. The program was great and included a boat safari, game drive safari and a walking safari. We had such a blast ❤️

We did a 3-day safari trip in Sealous game reverse with the best guide and driver Isa. It was an amazing adventure, in which we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and so many more animals We also had a boat safari in Rufigi river and hiking at the jungle forest. Accommodation in mloka lodge was great too. Very special place and stuff. Many thanks to kihindo tours for this memorable trip and special thanks to Isa the best safari driver in Tanzania.

For our honeymoon, we chose a 5-day safari in the magnificent Nyerere and Mikumi National Parks. We were treated like royalty by our guide and driver, who accompanied us throughout the trip. We have just completed a 3 day safari with Isaya. It was excellent. The communication before hand was very prompt and informative. The food and accommodation was excellent. And the trip itself was fantastic. We saw lots of animals... starting just after we entered the national park. I highly recommend a safari with kihindo safari.

Awesome first safari experience
We did our safari in March 2023 with Godfrey and Francis in the Ruaha NP. Although it was rain season, we saw a bunch of animals - especially due to the good eye of our guides. Gody&Francis spotted animals we would‘ve passed by without recognising them. But we want to give a review about more than the game drive itself. It was our first safari and we were curious what we can expect. In the booking process we were already amazed how fast and good answers we were getting by the company. The pdf-tour quote was really helpful and outstanding in comparison to other companys. When we started our trip all the last uncertainties were blown away. Both of them were doing the „last detail“ you were not even expecting of them. It was just such a pleasant and comfortable trip. The atmosphere and companionship althrough the trip was just super easy. So we just had a great time. And can highly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safari. Thank you very much.
